Simple spring makeup (tutorial)

So yesterday was Easter and I felt like putting some effort into my appearance and use the colourful day as an excuse to be a bit colourful myself 😁

So this look basically consisted of glowy cheeks and natural eyes with a little pop of blue/ purple on the lower lash line. I decided to keep this look very simple because I wasn't doing anything that was worth dressing up for but I still wanted to have a bit of fun!

(This picture isn't too great but it gets the point across of what I did on my eye lids.)

First I patted on a light pink/peach colour onto the lid, then I put a light ash brown into the crease, before finally putting a darker brown on the outer v of my eyes. I then pushed a black gel liner into my top lash line, keeping it light and very close to the lash line so it would be more natural looking. I flicked out my eyeliner a little before adding a highlight colour to my inner corners.

For under my eyes I simply pressed a blue eyeshadow into my lower lash line with a small dense eyeshadow brush, I added a little purple to the middle of it but this doesn't really show on my camera so it mostly looks blue.

For my skin I used a bb cream and some concealer, I contoured lightly and then added my favourite mineral blush from elf in the colour bliss (I've had many compliments when I've been wearing this😊.) I then just applied a lip balm because I wasn't feeling in the mood to wear lip colour even though I probably should have cause my lips look quite pale!

 But oh well!

I hope this was helpful!

This was my first time explaining my makeup look so I hope I did an above average job at it 😊

Thanks,
Holly 😁
